Learning Objectives

  1. Identify the early and late signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis
  2. Perform an urgent, focused assessment, including airway, breathing, circulation (ABCs), and skin findings.
  3. Initiate emergency interventions such as epinephrine administration, oxygen therapy, IV fluid bolus, and airway support.
  4. Escalate care using SBAR to activate rapid response or notify the provider and prepare for advanced airway support if needed.
